As a critically endangered species, orangutans face many threats to their survival including the illegal wildlife trade and deforestation. Many young orangutans are left orphaned with little hope of a happy and free life in the wild. Thanks to the critical conservation work of Borneo Orangutan Survival (BOS) many of these orphans are rescued and given a new chance of life in the wild. After graduating Orangutan Jungle School they move to pre-release islands before final release back into the wild - free again at last! to date BOS have returned 500 orangutans back to the wild following their rescue!

All prints come with an additional 2 inch border around the image to enable easy handling and framing options. Printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm fine art paper to ensure a print of the highest museum archival quality. It is a 100% white cotton fine art paper which boasts a wonderfully soft feel and lightly defined felt structure and images are printed with LUCIA EX 12 Colour Pigment Ink. I only use a print studio that carries the Fine Art Trade Guild kite mark to ensure superior quality.

Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by the print maker and me, the artist and contains the title of the work, the media used and the number and date of the edition.
